THE FULL WALKTHROUGH

How 1v1video works, start to finish

The homepage gives you the three-step version. This is the honest, complete one — what actually happens between pressing the button and talking to a real person in a 1v1 video chat.

01

You press Start

No form, no email, no account. The button is the whole onboarding. This works because everything about your session lives in your browser and disappears when you close it.

02

Your browser asks for camera and mic

This is a browser permission, not ours — we never see your camera until you approve it, and the preview shows you exactly what the other side will see. You can join with the camera off and turn it on later.

03

The matcher picks one person

From everyone online at that second, filtered by whatever you set (language, interest, country). No ranking, no algorithm learning your type — a flat, fair draw. That is the whole magic of a random 1v1 chat.

04

A peer-to-peer call opens

The video streams directly between your two browsers over WebRTC. It never passes through a recording server — there isn’t one. Quality adapts to the slower of your two connections, up to HD.

05

You talk, skip, or end

Five controls stay on screen for both people: camera, mic, skip, report, end. Stay an hour or skip in five seconds — nothing is saved either way.

What you need (spoiler: almost nothing)

🌐

A modern browser

Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox — phone or desktop. Nothing to install.

📷

Any camera

Built-in laptop cam or phone camera is plenty. Tips for looking better are in the 1v1 cam guide.

📶

~1 Mbps connection

Enough for smooth video. The call adapts up and down automatically.

🎂

Being 18+

This is an adults-only platform, enforced by moderation.

Cam setup tips (lighting, angle, audio) live on the 1v1 cam chat page; every safety control is documented in the safety center.

Three questions, answered honestly

Do I need to create an account first?

No — there is nothing to create. Press Start, approve the camera, and you are in a live 1v1 video chat. That is the entire flow.

Can I choose who I talk to?

You can filter the pool (language, interest, country) or browse who is online on the girls pages — but inside a match, the point is the surprise. Not feeling it? The skip button re-rolls instantly.

What if something goes wrong mid-call?

Report is one tap, always on screen, and ends the chat for you immediately while a human reviews it. The full flow is on the safety page.
