Most "anonymous chat" sites want a phone number, a social login or a selfie before you can say hello. This is the list of things you will not be asked for here.

Anonymous is not the same as unmoderated. Adults only, 18 and over, enforced. Report is one tap, ends the chat for you immediately, and goes to a human team. People who break the rules are removed.
It does not mean invisible to the one person you called
Once your camera is on, the person on the call sees your face. That is the whole point of video — so the camera is yours to switch, and off is the default.
It does not mean careless
Nothing on our side stores the call. A determined person could still film their own screen, the same as any video call anywhere, which is why the rules ban it and the report button exists. Never show on camera what you would not show a stranger in person.

The anonymous video chat checklist
Five habits that keep an anonymous chat anonymous. None of them cost anything and all of them take ten seconds.
- Start in text or voice; add video only when the conversation earns it
- Look behind you before the camera goes on — mail, name badges, whiteboards
- First names are plenty. Cities are plenty. Nobody needs your street
- If you are asked to move the chat to another app, that is your cue to skip
- Skip is free and needs no reason. Use it early rather than late
Anonymous chat, then and now
The old anonymous chat rooms got one thing right — no sign-up — and everything else wrong: dozens of strangers in one wall of text, no idea who was reading, no way out but closing the window. Is this a truly anonymous video chat?
As anonymous as a video chat can honestly be: no account, no email, no phone number, no name, no profile, and nothing recorded on our side. The one person you talk to sees your camera once you turn it on — and only then, because off is the default.
Can I chat anonymously without any camera at all?
Yes. Start in text-only mode, or voice with the camera off. Both use the same private one-person room and neither ever forces video on. Move up the scale only if you want to.
Is anonymous video chat free?
Free to start, and nothing is asked up front — no card, no account. Every match opens with free time shown as a countdown; staying on the same call past it runs on coins, and the app tells you before anything is charged. Skipping is always free.
Does anonymous mean nobody moderates?
No. Adults only, enforced. Report goes to a human moderation team and rule-breakers are removed fast. Anonymity is for you; it is not a shield for people behaving badly.
Do you keep chat logs or video?
Video and voice are peer-to-peer between two browsers, so there is nothing to keep. When a chat ends, it is gone. Details of what the browser does and does not hold are in the privacy policy.
Who will I be talking to anonymously?
Real adults, live, matched from whoever is online — filtered by country, language or interest if you set them. On their side the same rule holds: camera off until they choose otherwise.
